DIRECTOR
Job Description
A director at SVC has both delivery and practice development responsibility. The leadership expects 50% of the director’s time will be spent overseeing the delivery of multiple projects across multiple clients (“billable work”). These projects will be lead daily by SVC project managers. The remainder of the director’s time will be spent building the practice. This consists of team development and sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- providing project leadership and direction for multiple projects over multiple clients while maintaining high quality level of service and relationships
- facilitating project execution by providing support in executive-level issue resolution and management of scope and budgets
- ensuring quality of all project deliverables
- utilizing executive-level contacts within the entertainment industry to expand SVC client and project portfolio
- developing and managing client relationships
- developing proposals and driving project initiation activities
- identifying opportunities and significantly contributing to the selling of services within and outside of existing clients
- mentoring, developing, and motivating SVC resources
- providing thought leadership around firm strategy and direction
Required Skills and Experience
- Significant experience (10+ years) in systems implementation projects within an established consulting firm.
- Significant experience in project leadership, project management, business development, proposal, and budgeting
- Experience in consulting with entertainment clients
- Established business development network within filmed entertainment
- Excellent communication and meeting facilitation skills
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership skills
- Detail oriented

- Experience managing off-shore development firms
- New media and technology experience within filmed entertainment
